Chris Grundy is an Assistant Professor in Geographical Information Systems at LSHTM where his research looks at the use of GIS in health research. He has worked on studies around the world, often with a focus on data collection and the use of new or novel datasets. One area of particular interest is survey methodology and population estimation, looking at the use of satellite imagery to improve field surveys and to rapidly estimate populations where ground surveys may be difficult.
