Hak Salih

Biography:
Hak has over 20 years’ experience as an investor and supporter of entrepreneurs and innovation across sectors, having managed equity funds and investment teams. He has researched and invested in the impacts of innovation, technology and change as it transformed companies, industries and countries.

Hak’s role at MedCity as Digital Health Lead, focuses on supporting, connecting and growing the digital health eco-system, both private and public sector. He also encourages larger corporates with relevant expertise outside of the sector, to explore opportunities within.

Amongst his other interests, he researches and consults on the potential for emerging technologies (e.g. VR, AI, FinTech, robotics, drones, self driving cars, synthetic biology etc.) across industries and the opportunities and threats therein.

He also mentors, pro bono, a wide range of start-ups and social enterprises and has been recognised for this contribution with a Fellowship of the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs. He was also included in the inaugural Maserati 100 list, published in the Sunday Times, of those who have given back by helping and supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs.
