Biography:
Lucie Burgess is Head of Health at the Digital Catapult and a Senior Research Fellow at Hertford College at the University of Oxford, where she is interested in responsible innovation with personal data, data governance and data ethics, particularly in the context of digital health.

Lucie’s 20-year career spans digital and technology strategy and information governance, working with Deloitte, information services company United Business Media, the British Library and the University of Oxford. She now leads the Digital Catapult’s health programme which spans digital innovation across analytics, wearables and biosensing, population health, connected health and artificial intelligence/ machine learning, across public, private, insurance and consumer health markets.
